This first day of Baja TT Carmin – the qualifying day – went just as we expected. Despite the small trouble we had in the first lap, that cost us about 3 seconds, this 4th position is due to, above all things, the restrictions that our car has right now. However, because we do not know to live otherwise, we’re excited for tomorrow and we will certainly fight for the victory.
The best proof that we intend to repeat the feats of last season was, in my point of view, our second lap. Even more knowledgeable of the land, we were able to reduce 10 seconds to our past record and, even though it hadn’t improved our overall ranking, we guarantee the motivational supplement to the day when everything is decided.
It is certain that we have a 37 seconds delay for the first place after this super special, but there are many imponderables in the 4×4 competition and on track, confronting directly other competitors, anything can happen. The rules are these, we have to respect them, but we always aim to victory and this philosophy applies both to stages as well as the championship. In this way, tomorrow I intend to surprise some of those who have any doubts.
