The Ukrainian crew made up of Vladislav Kuschinsky and Dmitry Tsyro (Auto-Life Racing Team) will be taking starter’s orders on the Silk Way Rally this coming July. They will be tackling the tracks between Moscow and Sochi behind the wheel of their Land Rover Defender.
The duo has already accomplished all the registration formalities and are now actively preparing for the race. Several days ago, the team completed a training course in the sands of Abu Dabi. This experience will without a doubt be very useful on the off-track sections, notably on the steppes and especially in the dunes.
Driver Vladislav Kuschinsky has confirmed that his Land Rover Defender is all ready to tackle the event: “The car has been carefully prepared. The test in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated that the Land Rover Defender is perfectly designed for sand and off-track driving. In these conditions, it showed just how good its capacities are and how reliable it is”.
On the Silk Way Rally in 2010, this Ukrainian team already proved that they were worthy competitors. However, in July this year, they are aiming to do even better thanks to prolonged training and technical improvements to the vehicle. Victories by the Auto-Life Racing Team in national all-terrain competitions have also helped to build up a feeling of confidence.
