Today, the third stage of Pharaons Rally went down to the Oasis of Farafra, crossing part of the White Desert. Jes run at a very good rhythm, focusing in navigation, saving his KTM and achieves to finish in the sixth position of the day of the stage and in overall standings.
“This morning, the start was in the skirts of a sandy slope. When the clerk gave me the “go” sign, I lift my eyes and I saw a medical car trapped in the middle… I took the start anyways and I passed next to their car, laughing in my helmet while watching them how it bother them to block the road.
The first 200 km were stony, and I don´t like stones! But I am getting used to it little by little and I am less scared of falling. There were some nice passages, a nice and fun descent to go through. In this kind of ground, it is important to be physically fit. For the last 100 km, I enjoyed the sand, the fast tracks, the big valleys and the magnificent landscapes. I run all alone during the whole stage and I adore the feeling of being alone and going full gas!” said the rider while laughing. Tomorrow, Pharaons Rally will have a loop around Sahl Baraka.
