Sunday April 15: Administrative and technical checks at Losail International Circuit, Doha, Qatar.
Jes Munk arrived to Doha yesterday night and he was glad to find again his KTM 450 and discover the Losail Circuit where the first Moto GP of the season 2012 took place last week. “I haven´t raced after the Dakar, and I was terribly missing it. I am glad to be finally able to be back on the saddle of my KTM 450, to get in the mood of this heat, because here it´s 33 degrees Celcius and also, it feels nice to see my friends again.
Just like my team, Judith and Gilbert, the bike was here since Wednesday. We completed administrative and technical checks today at Losail International Circuit. This is the first time that I am at a circuit, it is amazing and it makes me want to go see a GP race live this year.
Tomorrow, the starting ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. at the Doha Corniche, the road along the bay, and then, we will go take a road connection to the bivouac of the Sealine, about 45 minutes away from the south of Doha. I am here to have fun – I hope there will be lots of sand- and to continue improving our assistance structure,” enthrust the Danish rider.
