HQ Racing has a busy schedule for the second half of August: HunGarian Baja has just ended and the team is already on the way to the Polish round of FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup. And between the two events a special test was also on the ‘menu’…
“We worked all week long to prepare the car, so we hope everything will be OK in Poland. The day before our departure I happened to drive a totally different racing car: my new rallycross vehicle with which I will start in my first race of this art next weekend. I enjoyed it a lot, the car is superb, I’m really enthusiastic about the experience but practically we left for Poland from the test,” Hango said.
Baja Poland is going to have Szczecin as an HQ and takes place on 28-31 August, 2014. Competitors warm up with an 8 km Superspecial Friday afternoon, followed by two 192 km specials on Saturday and another two 65 km specials on Sunday. The eighth round of the FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup ends with a prizegiving ceremony on Sunday evening.
