Zoltán Hangodi didn’t have too much time to relax after Baja Poland: although cross-country rally season continues only in two weeks, until then he has one more competition: he takes part in his first ever rallycross race in Kakucs Ring on 7 September, 2014.
Zoltán Hangodi cannot live without petrol: the team has just got back from the Polish round of FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies and this weekend he jumps back behind the wheel, but not in the Klement Mosquito but in a Nissan Sunny GTi-R Turbo with which he’s going to start in his first ever rallycross event in Kakucs Ring on 7 September, 2014.
“I compete in Supercar category with a Nissan that cannot be considered a top car any more but Zoltán Harsányi drove it to Hungarian Championship title some years ago. For me this is a brand new challenge, I am very excited and I am looking forward to the start. I want to say thanks to Zoli Harsányi and his team for making it possible for me to start. I hope for a thrilling race, and invite everyone to Kakucs Ring. I hope many of you can come, I need your support!” Hango said.
At Kakucs Ring, which is about 40 km from Budapest, program starts at 8 am with the free practice. Timed practice starts from 9 am, followed by the heats from 10:30 am. Finals start from 4 pm.
