Due to a small mechanical problem, Zoltán Hangodi’s race at the closing round of the Hungarian Rallycross Championship ended prematurely on Sunday. Apart from this, the weekend in Nyirád prooved to be very important for the driver of HQ Racing for getting grip with rallycross.
The day of Zoltán Hangodi started well, but became very short at the last round of the Hungarian Rallycross Championship. The driver of HQ Racing completed the qualifying with a 9th time, but due to a small mechanical problem he wasn’t able to finish the first heat with the Nissan.
“Unfortunately today’s race day ended very soon for me, but still I had some exciting battles. We had a small mechanical problem we couldn’t get rid of, but apart from this everything was fine, I had a great time in Nyirád. This was a fruitful weekend, I learnt a lot again and got even more infected with rallycross. I’d like to say thanks to Zoli Harsányi and his team for preparing the car and congratulations for the record breaking 9th Hungarian Championship title!” Hango said.
