Because of the violent storms currently striking the first stage special linking Rosario to Villa Carlos Paz, the special of the day having a 227 km-distance for bikes and a 258 km-distance for cars and trucks has been cancelled.
First, the special had been delayed waiting for a possible improvement of the weather conditions which sadly did not occur. The very low ceiling, preventing helicopters from flying in particular, does not allow the organisation to ensure the safety of the race under good conditions. This is the reason why the decision of cancellation has been taken at 09.30am.
