From Moscow to Astrakhan, going through Kazakhstan!
• Two countries crossed : Russia and Kazakhstan.
• A brand new route.
• Around 3.000 km of special stages.
In three months, on 4th July, the sixth edition of the Silk Way Rally will take the start from the mythical Red Square, at Moscow, to reach Astrakhan, on 12th July, going through Tcheboksary (Russia), Kazan, Bugulma (Tatarstan) and in Kazaksthan for three legs, among which one loop and three bivouacs : Uralsk, Beyneu and Atyrau. After the passing through Kazakhstan, back to the Russian Federation for a finish at the edge of the Caspian sea.
The renewed eight-leg-route will be keeping with the sporting spirit of the Silk Way Rally and it will focus on driving skills, navigation and wide spaces. Competitors will cross the beautiful Russian landscapes before reaching the foothills of the Southern Urals and the deserts of the Caspian depression.
The finish of the Silk Way Rally 2014 will be judged on 12th July 2014, at the foot of the wonderful Kremlin of Astrakhan.

21/04 : Opening of entries.
10/06 : Closure of entries.
3/07 and 4/07: Administrative checks and scrutineering.
4/07 : Start Ceremony from the Red Square, in Moscow.
5/07 to 12/07 : 8 racing days, 3.000 km of special stages.
12/07 : Finish podium.
