After the longest stage, Tomas Ourednicek and Pavel Vaculik occupy the 5th place overall in Duna Aszfalt Cup, first round of the FIA Central European Zone Trophy and the Hungarian Championship. The team of Buggyra Ultimate Dakar continues to fine-tune the setup of their Hummer H3 EVO, freshly rebuilt after gruelling Dakar Rally.
“We made some changes to the setup last night, and the handling of the car was much better already in the first of today’s two specials. Before the afternoon stage, we made some further improvements, those paid off as well. The car still doesn’t behave hundred percent like we want, but the direction is good, and these tracks are really nice for testing. They are extremely demanding both physically and in terms of driving, but we enjoyed the day a lot” – Tomas Ourednicek said after the finish.
On Sunday the teams have to complete a last 109 kilometres against the clock before the event closes with a prizegiving ceremony in the afternoon.
