This morning, Thierry Magnaldi took the start with his RZR some kind of anxious. After only a few kilometers the Xtreme+ driver had already taken over many cars.
“When the RZR does not have any problems, it is an enjoyable machine to drive, and during the first kilometers I really had fun. It was a rough ground with many stones, and I run at a good rhythm and didn´t have a puncture. Unfortunately, like yesterday, I broke down transmission on km 104, it is the dust boost that dies first, and then the sand comes in… So, I put the RZR in 4wd to take back control of the front of the car, and I went 50/60 km/h in front of the assistance Xtreme+ truck.
At CP1, mechanics towed me to the bivouac to have enough time to find a solution to this joint problem. Tomorrow I start for a new try and I hope to be able to finish the stage,” confesses the French driver.
